From the very first meeting until the very end, it really has been a very smooth and extremely well organised process. The project has run perfectly and on time, which in itself I thought was ambitious, and the workmanship has been some of the highest quality I have seen (and I am in a related industry). Our project manager Adrian has the work ethic, the attention to detail and the skills to work to a very high standard and he is the most helpful and accommodating person you would wish to have working in your home. So much so that we will be sad to see him leave, which sounds crazy when talking about "builders". Of course Adrian is assisted by the team in the office who ensure that all materials and trades are on site when they need to be. Which is exactly what has happened, and from my own experience I know this takes significant time in the planning. If we are ever in the market for another loft conversion, we would not consider looking elsewhere and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to everyone at The Loft Room!R A12/03/2024The Loft Room completed our loft in November 2021. We approached the loft room after the positive reviews on the Internet. From the very first day from when we had an inspection everything was smooth and Melissa kept us informed and updated throughout. Helen managed our project and sent weekly reports and was available to provide us advice. Any issues or questions we had were answered. Our builder Nez and his colleague Blaze were amazing. They came 6 days a week. Were always at our place before 8 and did not finish till 5 or 6. Words are not enough to express our appreciation for Nez and Blaze who worked immensely hard and kept us informed. Our property was left clean and tidy every day. Many different trade people were organised by the loft room who were polite and courteous. The initial build was quick and only took about 6 weeks. We were just waiting for fire doors, which we understand under current circumstances are taking long for deliveries. We would like to say a Big Big thank you to all the team at the loft room for making this project run smoothly and problem free. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to get their loft done. Thank you Melissa, Helen, Rich. However we decided to go with the Loft Room following a recommendation from friends who used them, seeing the quality of that build and from our initial meeting with Paul (co-owner) who put us at ease whilst also giving us confidence in him and the team. Adrian was our team leader and was on site every day with his colleague Robert. They were absolute work horses - dedicated, extremely skilled and did a fantastic job, accommodating tweaks and changes along the way. They also gave us some valuable tips and ideas (upgrade your loft stair velux to electric - it is SO high up!) Rich (co-owner) regularly popped by to check we were happy with everything and Melissa and Helen in the office were always super helpful and responsive. We are extremely happily with the end result and can't wait to get the final touches done and move in to our fabulous new loft room and ensuite.
